The North West Livestock Development Fund (NWLDF) with the French acronym (CDENO) is a Public Administrative Establishment that was created on the 8th November 1974 by Presidential Decree No.317 of 8^th November 1974 and has as its area of operation the entire North West Region. It has as main objective, the development of livestock activities in the North West Region. To attain this objective,  the  following missions are assigned to CDENO:

• ANIMAL PRODUCTION
• ANIMAL HEALTH PROTECTION
• PASTURE IMPROVEMENT
• CONSTRUCTION OF LIVESTOCK INFRASTRUCTURES
• CAPACITY BUILDING TO BREEDERS
